We work exclusively with and for clients who share our commitment to reducing carbon emissions (and also have the credentials to prove it).
We like to think that Studio Duel is The Hague’s most energy-efficient studio (in fact, we’re pretty sure it is!). Our building is perfectly insulated with quadruple glazing. We convert energy from the air into hot water and heating for our floors and the building. We also exclusively consume home-grown Dutch green energy.
Being keen recyclers, we separate paper, plastic, glass, cans and non-recyclable waste. So no more single-use materials – we believe in giving everything a second chance at life! Leaders in sustainability inspire us to go the extra mile. As well as embracing the philosophy behind the circular economy, we make every effort to implement it in all we do.
We’re mindful about what we put into our bodies: we prefer organic products and we integrate regular meat-free days into the week but we’re not fans of unnecessary plastic packaging. Sustainable food is not only better for the environment but tastes better too, join us for lunch sometime and see for yourself!
Wij gaan altijd met de fiets naar de studio en naar afspraken binnen Den Haag. Daarbuiten pakken we de trein of de hybride auto. Wist je dat we per jaar ruim 10.000 km fietsen, alleen al van huis en naar de studio.
Onze studio bestaat zo veel mogelijk uit eerlijke en duurzame materialen. Daar zijn we nogal kien op. Zo drukken we onze producten bij een CO2 neutrale drukker op FSC en gerecycled papier met bio inkt. Hosten we websites bij een duurzame partij. En lokaal, ook belangrijk. Geen overbodige Chinese producties dus.
Wij houden van ons werk, maar zijn pas écht effectief als we ook tijd hebben voor onszelf. Om uit te waaien op het strand, te golfsurfen of om lekker uitgebreid te lunchen. De biertjes op de vrijmibo komen natuurlijk van Brouwerij Scheveningen. Tja, qua duurzame inzetbaarheid zit het bij ons wel goed.
Er is bij ons altijd ruimte voor een goed gesprek. En wat past daar beter bij dan een goede bak koffie, van een lokale branderij. Wist je dat wij een eigen blend hebben? Kom proeven, dan gaat het gesprek vanzelf.
